Mounting adapter with tilt swivel and a headrest mount. To be used with Nextbase original Universal Mount. The mounting adapter consists of an adapter plate that is to be attached onto the back of the Universal Mount, which then is to be attached onto a tilt swivel mount on the headrest mount.
Tilts 20°, swivels 360°. Made of black ABS/Acetal plastic. Made in Sweden.
Please Note that the original Nextbase Dock is not included.
Please read all of the instructions and look at the pictures before installation.
1. Remove the original Universal Mount from the Nextbase headrest mount by loosening the screws. Place the mounting adapter plate onto the back of the Universal Mount and screw it into place with the removed screws.
2. Loosen the screw in the center of the mounting adapter tilt swivel so you can remove the attaching plate on the back. Place the attaching plate onto the Brodit headrest mount. Screw the attaching plate into place with the enclosed screws. Tighten the screw so the tilt swivel is firmly in place, but still can be adjusted/angled.
3. Use the enlcosed tool to remove the screws in the headrest mount. Place the back part of the headrest mount onto the front side of the headrest. Place the other part of the headrest, equipped with a mounting plate, onto the back part of the headrest mount so the screws match the holes. Place the screws in the holes. Tighten the screws until the headrest mount is securely in place. The headrest mount is in place.
4. Place the Universal Mount with the attached mounting adapter plate over the mounting adapter tilt swivel and press/slide it downward so it is properly in place. To remove the Universal Mount: Press/slide it straight upward.
