The ProClip is a mounting bracket for the vehicle’s dashboard. Onto the ProClip you can install e.g. a holder for your mobile phone or PDA or a handsfree set etc. Safe and convenient -always within easy reach. The ProClip is car specific and easy to install. The installation is quick, no special tools or dismantle of the dashboard is required and it will not damage the interior of the vehicle. Made in black ABS plastic. Comes with detailed instructions.
Please read the instructions and look at the pictures carefully before attaching the ProClip. This ProClip comes in two parts:
Part 1 - mounting arm
Part 2 - mounting plate
1. Press the thin end of the enclosed gap opener into the gap between the console edge and the center console panel frame, to widen the gap. Use the enclosed alcohol pad to clean the area where the ProClip is to be installed. Peel off the cover of adhesive tape on Part 1.
2. Insert the upper angled edge of Part 1 into the seam between the frame surrounding the vent and the padded part of the upper dash. Then flip/rotate Part 1 upward while keeping pressure inward. Pull out the gap opener.
3. Press a screwdriver firmly through the predrilled holes in Part 2 to open the holes. Peel off the adhesive tape cover on Part 2. Place Part 2 onto Part 1 so the holes match and the adhesive tape on Part 2 is above the vent opening. Screw Part 2 onto Part 1 using the enclosed screws. The ProClip will tighten as the screws tighten and the two parts come together. Be careful not to over tighten.
4. The ProClip is in place.
